Recovery-oriented leadership (ROL)

Recovery-Oriented Leadership (ROL) is a course that is meant to inspire, encourage and support leaders to implement and develop the recovery-oriented practice in their organization and services. This training brings scientific knowledge, organisational knowledge and experiential knowledge around core themes connected with recovery and leadership.

In this course, we provide general knowledge concerning recovery-oriented care and tools to take the first practical steps within an organization to develop this. We approach several central themes, such as personal recovery and experiential knowledge, from a leadership perspective. As a leader it is important to understand why it might be beneficial to work with experts-by-experience and why to develop services in which experiential knowledge is appreciated and supported in different forms. We focus on knowledge about implementation on the different levels within an organization, and on ways in which leaders can support their employees to work recovery oriented. We assist leaders in already taking the first step(s) during the course.

For example: team leaders, project leaders, managers, board members, policy makers.
