Do you want to become a recovery-oriented leader or manager?
In the Recovery-Oriented Leadership (ROL) module, we aim to inspire, encourage and support leaders and managers to implement and develop recovery-oriented practice in their organization or services.
In this module, we provide general knowledge concerning recovery-oriented care and introduce practical tools to take the first steps within an organization to implement or develop this approach.
We address several central themes (CARe model, recovery, experiential knowledge, service design or working with the community etc.) from a leadership perspective.
As a recovery oriented leader it is important to understand the value of experiential knowledge and find out ways how to develop services in which experiential knowledge and expertise is appreciated and supported in different forms.
We focus not only on gaining the theoretical knowledge, but mainly on practical tools and possibilities of implementation on the different levels within an organization, and ways in which leaders can support their employees to work recovery-oriented.
During the training we will focus on specific situations and context of the practice and support or assist leaders in taking the first step(s) towards desired change.
Sub goals of the module are:
- To provide general knowledge concerning recovery-oriented care;
- To give insight into what recovery-oriented and value-driven leadership means;
- To share ideas and directions to implement recovery-oriented care, experience principles and values which are guiding the implementation process and introduce good practice examples;
- To provide tools to take the first practical steps within an organization to implement or improve recovery-oriented care;
- To provide knowledge for leaders on how to create in the organization a learning, growth mindset and a culture that appreciates experiential knowledge.
We hope that, after following this module, leaders are inspired to take the first steps towards recovery-oriented care! We offer a follow-up support, supervision, consultancy, study visits, and/or training modules tailored to their organization.
