Get in-depth training in recovery – oriented care rooted in CARe Model – supportive relational approach!
Recovery Oriented Practitioner (ROP) is a comprehensive blended training providing profound knowledge and skills to become a practitioner in recovery-oriented care with specialization in using the CARe Model (Comprehensive Approach to Rehabilitation and Recovery) in daily practice.
The aim of the training is to empower individuals, professionals, teams, and communities in the field of mental health to become innovators in the field and enhance their abilities in providing relational recovery-oriented care and support in different settings. This training brings scientific knowledge and experiential knowledge in core themes connected with mental health care anchored in hands-on experiences from a wide range of clinical and community settings. ROP-training can address educational needs through postgraduate education in the field of person-centred and human rights-based mental health recovery.
Through interactive sessions you will explore interconnection of several topics and experience firsthand practical application of:
- CARe Model (principles, methodology and tools)
- Mental health recovery
- Recovery-oriented care
- Experiential knowledge
- Trauma-informed care and trauma sensitive approach
- Dialogical practice
- Community mental health and social inclusion
To ensure good quality of the training and opportunity for direct transfer, we combine different forms of learning and practice: online training meetings, face to face training, peer to peer group work, study visit in mental health services, e-learning modules, home tasks and assignments, coaching and supervision.
The ROP consists of 100 training hours and is includes following parts:
- 48 hours online training (10 online sessions of 4 or 6 hours)
- 20 hours face to face training held in Prague including 4 hours study visit in mental
- health care services in Prague
- 6 hours of group supervision and coaching
- 6 hours of peer-to-peer working group meetings
- 20 hours of E-learning and working on assignments
- Personal support and supervision during the training helping to transfer gained knowledge and skills into participants working environment
Within the conditions Erasmus + Project we have the opportunity to deliver 2 ROP trainings in 2024 – 2025. The capacity of each training group is 16 participants.
The training will be held in English and is open to participants from different countries and is free of charge. The face-to-face part of the training will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, with travel expenses covered.
For whom is the training?
We recommend the training for mental health professionals and experts by experience. It is suitable for people working in community services as well as in institutional health care and social care settings (social workers, psychologists, peer workers, nurses, psychiatrists, occupational therapist, …)
Requirements for the training:
- Professionals currently working in mental health care or psychosocial rehabilitation
- teams (ideally with more than 2 years’ experience)
- Good English language skills (at least level B1)
- Strong motivation, and willingness to learn. Technical and organizational conditions
- for attending the online training meetings
- Submitted Motivation letter and CV as part of the registration form
